✇ Under the Influence - Episode 5 ✇ In a representative democracy, the people choose an individual to manifest their collective will. In a cult, an individual chooses a type of person, forms a collective, and then manifests its will, yes?

Several comments: 1) I really like the intro music, but even moreso, I like the sounds at the end. Reminds me almost of ASMR 2) That analogy about high school elections is more apt than I like. I mean if we think about it. a) President is usually popularity contest b) Other positions are either popularity contest or reward for helping get the president elected c) School-government apparatus makes no real school policy, raises a pittance of money for a couple specific causes d) School staff and principal are the ones who truly run the school e) Parents are the ones who pay the money that the school disburses at its own discretion f) Children are there to consume "knowledge" and socialize I mean, what's truly the difference between that system and the one in place for running the country?

Wald, Greatly appreciate the kind words and, even more so, the feed back. I thought a few, well-coordinated sounds to close things would make it interesting as well as final. Also, you present an excellent extrapolation of my high-school president example. Well done. All the best, W&A
