We do not live in an ever expanding universe. Bible says in Genesis 2:1 that "the heavens and the earth were finished and all the hosts of them." So the earth; and the sun, moon and stars that he placed INSIDE the dome/firmament, and ALL creation was finished on that sixth day. Also, a fascinating verse that describes the earth is Job 38:14. It says, "it takes the shape like clay under a seal"! God is awesome
